Laminates of Transport films are used in a wide variety of demanding applications where high moisture vapor transmission, good drape, quietness, excellent stretch and recovery, and durable bonds are required. These include performance apparel, protective wear and medical applications.

All Transport films are also viral barriers. In addition, they exhibit excellent abrasion, temperature and chemical resistance when compared to films produced from other polymers.

Omniflex's Transport brand films are cast onto polyethylene, polyester or paper carriers in thicknesses from 0.2 to 6.0 mils and in widths up to 68 inches. Mid-performance waterproof breathable films are also available without carrier in thicknesses of 0.8 mil or greater.

Vacuflex...a family of thin, high-molecular weight, polyether thermoplastic urethane (TPU) barrier films. It is supplied either cast on a film carrier or as unsupported blown film.

Cast Vacuflex film is produced without the addition of processing aids or modifiers (lubricants) that can negatively impact surface properties such as bond strength. Unsupported Vacuflex blown films use the minimum additives required to process the TPU resin. The exceptional adhesion properties of films produced by either extrusion method allow lamination to other substrates by most commercial processes. The resulting laminates have outstanding durability, chemical and abrasion resistance properties, and hydrolytic stability.

Vacuflex films are widely used in the automotive industry for vacuum-formed fabric laminates and foam-in-place applications. Omniflex's Vacuflex brand polyurethane film is cast in thicknesses from 0.2 to 6.0 mils and in widths up to 68 inches. Blown film is available in thicknesses from 0.8 to 20 mils and widths up to 85 inches.
